Smooth
Smooth leather is the quietest surface in the range — nothing to catch the light but the leather itself.
For it we chose Fassona calfskin from Piedmont, Italy — a hide with a fine, dense structure that takes a soft, refined finish. It is finished with semi-aniline techniques that preserve the leather's natural strength and suppleness, rather than correcting the surface flat.
Most leather is polished into uniformity. Ours is allowed to remain honest: the subtle natural marks and the faintest veining stay in the surface, as evidence the leather is real.
You'll feel it straight away — supple and calm, with a soft quiet sheen rather than a shine. It holds a silhouette cleanly, which is why it appears in the range's most structured bags.
Every edge is painted by hand, stroke by stroke, and the hardware is polished and inspected individually — the quiet surface leaves nowhere for shortcuts to hide.
Living with smooth leather is simple. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth when it needs it. If it gets damp, let it air-dry naturally. From time to time, a small touch of leather cream keeps the surface supple.
It starts refined and grows richer with everyday wear — the kind of subtle patina that makes a bag feel more personal over time.
